Truck Driver Day: A Special Visit to Zellik
On 12 December 2024, we celebrated our drivers during Truck Driver Day. At our headquarters in Zellik, we had the pleasure of welcoming Annick De Ridder, Flemish Minister for Mobility and Public Works, for an introduction to our drivers, our activities and the challenges facing the transport sector.
Our Drivers Make the Difference
During the visit, the Minister had the opportunity to meet several drivers and discover how versatile the profession has become. Beyond their driving skills, our drivers possess extensive technical expertise and contribute every day to the safe and efficient supply of industry and society.
Our ongoing investments in innovation were also highlighted. Among the technologies presented were a hydrogen-powered tractor unit, an automated tanker and a training vehicle. These innovations support our drivers and help us prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.
During the visit, CEO Frédéric Derumeaux emphasized the importance of the profession: truck drivers make an essential contribution to our economy and society every day. Truck Driver Day is therefore an ideal opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for their commitment.
